They are much bigger than ordinary hot dogs and packed in glass jars so the consumer can see the quality and value at the point of purchase.
Our job was to increase penetration into the trade and lift the brand profile with trade buyers.
We created a series trade ads focussing on the twin benefits of size and clear packaging and ran them in The Grocer and other trade magazines.
We used a quirky, tongue-in-cheek approach that would appeal to trade buyers.
The campaign was incredibly successful with sales growing week by week.
We also poked fun at the main competitors ‘Princess’ and ‘Olde Oak’ with this quirky themed ad when sales hit record highs.
